Actress and singer-songwriter Rita Wilson stopped by THE TALK and opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis and subsequent double mastectomy. Wilson says, "Aren't they perky! I'm very healthy. I feel great...I often say that breast cancer and the surgery and the reconstruction...was just a part of last year... it's not just something you spend your entire year or your life doing. However long it takes, it's part of your life. It doesn't become your whole life."

Later, Wilson shares her journey from recording only cover songs to BECOMING her own songwriter. Working with a close friend, Wilson took the dive and wrote all original songs for her new album, "Rita Wilson." She even has one featured on her newest film, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2."
