VIDEO: Netflix Releases Trailer for Original Docu-Series CAPTIVE

Today, Netflix released the trailer and key art for its' original docuseries, CAPTIVE which will make its world premiere at DOC NYC on Friday, Nov. 11. The series launches globally on Netflix on Dec. 9.

About the series: Captive, from two-time Oscar-winning producer Simon Chinn (Man on Wire, Searching for Sugar Man) and acclaimed executive producer Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity), examines the most challenging hostage situations of our times, from the highest-profile cases to those kept hidden from the public.

With privileged access to a range of viewpoints, Captive sheds light on an escalating international trend and efforts to resolve it, exploring a wide range of hostage situations from the viewpoint of everyone involved: the victims, their families, experienced negotiators-and the kidnappers themselves.

Allison Williams Joins Charlie Day in Film KILL ME

Together with Margot, the 911 operator who took his call, Jimmy sets out on a mission to solve a vitally important whodunit.

Nick Jonas Film THE GOOD HALF To Be Released This Summer

Following its premiere at the Tribeca Festival last June, The Good Half, starring Nick Jonas, will be hitting theaters this July. According to reports, the film has been acquired by Utopia and, in partnership with Fathom Events, a limited release will include 900 North American theaters on July 23 and 25. Attendees will also get to see a virtual Q&A with Jonas and director Robert Schwartzman. A wide release is expected later in the year.

Steve Carell Joins Tina Fey in Netflix's THE FOUR SEASONS

According to multiple reports, Steve Carell has closed a deal which would reunite him with Tina Fey in a television remake of The Four Seasons from Netflix. The Office alum will star in the remake of Alan Alda's 1981 feature, who will star alongside Tina Fey in the series. Fey co-created the adaptation with Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, whom she worked with on 30 Rock. The film is set to go into production later this year.
