On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, Broadway vet Kristin Chenowth offered a touching farewell to longtime host Jay Leno, singing the Charlie Chaplin classic, 'Smile.' The performance earned a standing OVATION from the live audience and prompted a teary-eyed Jay Leno to carry the petite singer over to the guest sofa. Later, Chenoweth gave Jay the scoop on her new boyfriend!

Chenoweth has been a mainstay on the late night talker, and most famously BET Leno that she would eat raw sushi, (a food which she described as a combination of 'snot and B.O.'), if he would give a donation to her charity, Maddie's Corner. Both followed through on their end of the bargain!

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" features a nightly monologue (the longest in late night), news-making guests, and ongoing comedy segments, including "Headlines," "Jaywalking" and "Battle of Jaywalking All-Stars." The result is a unique and humorous look at the daily happenings in the news and in pop culture.

The program is also a proven barometer of political clout. In 2009, the show made HISTORY by being the first late-night show to host a sitting president when Jay Leno welcomed President Barack Obama as a guest.

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" is from Big Dog Productions in association with Universal Television. Debbie Vickers is the executive producer.
