On last night's Hollywood Film Awards, Johnny Depp made a cringe-worthy introduction for documentary subject Shep Gordon, of SUPERMENSCH: THE LEGEND OF SHEP GORDON, directed by Mike Myers. The Hollywood Film Awards, the official launch of the awards season, aired tonight, November 14 (8:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on CBS live from the Hollywood Palladium. The HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS has recognized excellence in the art of cinema and filmmaking for 17 years, honoring some of the world's biggest stars.

Host Queen Latifah welcomed Amy Adams, Gerard Butler,Steve Carell, Benedict Cumberbatch, Johnny Depp, Laura Dern, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall, Simon Helberg,Jonah Hill, Ron Howard, Randy Jackson, Angelina Jolie,Keira Knightley, Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, Jennifer Lopez, Julianne Moore, Mike Myers, Jack O'Connell, Robert Pattinson, Chris Pratt, Eddie Redmayne, Chris Rock, Hilary Swank, Kristen Stewart, Channing Tatum, Jean-Marc Vallée, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley. Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Janelle Monáe also took to the stage for a special musical performance.
