Jimmy Kimmel, who served as host of last night's 89th ACADEMY AWARDS on ABC wasted no time bashing President Trump during his opening monologue. "I want to say thank you to President Trump. Remember last year when it seemed like the Oscars were racist? That's gone, thanks to him," he shared.

The late night host went on to joke, "This broadcast is being watched by millions of Americans and - around the world - 225 countries that now hate us, and I think that is an amazing thing."

A little later in the monologue, Kimmel harkened back to Trump's recent comments that 20-time Oscar nominee Meryl Streep was "overrated." As Streep received a standing ovation from the crowd, Kimmel observed that she has "phoned it in for more than 50 films over the course of her lackluster career."
