Participant Media's television network, Pivot, announced it will air the U.S. television broadcast premiere of OCCUPIED. Acknowledged by Vogue.com as "the new 'Homeland," a new episode 10-episode series will run everyThursday night starting May 5th at 10:00pm ET.

Set in the not so distant future, "Occupied" is a suspenseful series that explores how climate change can cause nations to collide. After a freak hurricane devastates Norway, the newly elected Prime Minister decides to halt all oil production resulting in a global energy crisis.

The dependency for oil is so great that Russia, on behalf of EU, is forced to occupy Norway in order to start production from Norway's oil rigs. Be sure to tune in on Thursday, May 5th for the U.S. television premiere of "Occupied" only on Pivot.
