Country music star Carrie Underwood will be among the entertainers performing Saturday at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park.

The concert's lineup will also include Jay-Z, The Roots, Sting and No Doubt. The concert is part of an effort by the Global Poverty Project to end extreme poverty by 2030. "They're so many causes; you can find something that you're really passionate about," said the AMERICAN IDOL champ on this morning's TODAY.
