Actress Amanda Peet is now a children’s author with her new book, “Dear Santa, Love, Rachel Rosenstein,” which tells the story of a young Jewish girl who wishes that her family would celebrate Christmas and winds up learning more about other cultures. “It’s a story I really wanted to write,” Peet tells TODAY’s Matt Lauer,. The proceeds from the book go to Seeds of Peace, a nonprofit camp in Maine that brings Israeli and Palestinian kids together. Watch the appearance below!
