UK Gangster Saga PEAKY BLINDERS to Return to Super Channel Today

Super Channel, is thrilled to welcome back the long-awaited third season of the critically acclaimed UK gangster saga, PEAKY BLINDERS, for its exclusive Canadian broadcast premiere on Tuesday, June 7 at 9 p.m. ET (SC2). Each episode of the highly anticipated, six-part third season will also be available on Super Channel On Demand the day following its initial weekly broadcast.

Season three sees Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy, Inception) pulled into the glamorous and dangerous world of international intrigue in 1920s Britain, putting his entire organization and family at risk, and forcing him to question everything about his own ambitions and desires.

Helen McCrory (Skyfall), Paul Anderson (Legend), Sophie Rundle (An Inspector Calls), and Joe Cole (Pressure) all reprise their roles in the Shelby family and Joe Cole is once again joined by his real-life brother, Finn Cole (Inspector Lewis) as his on-screen cousin, Michael.

Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), also returns in the role of Alfie Solomons, while Paddy Considine (Pride) joins the cast as the representative of a force beyond anything Shelby has previously encountered.

Peaky Blinders is a Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Drama production for BBC Two, executive produced by writer/creator Steven Knight, Caryn Mandabach, Will Gould, Jamie Glazebrook, Frith Tiplady, Cillian Murphy and, for the BBC, Matthew Read.
