As previously reported, TV and film veterans Brian Stokes Mitchell and Jeff Goldblum have just landed the parts of Rachel's (Lea Michele) adoptive parents on the hit FOX TV show, GLEE.

Brian Stokes Mitchell was most recently seen on Broadway in WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN and has enjoyed a rich and varied career on Broadway, television, film, voice-overs and recording, along with appearances in the great American concert halls. His Broadway career also includes performances in Man of La Mancha, Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, King Hedley II and Mail, which earned him a Theatre World award for Outstanding Broadway Debut. His long television career began with a seven-year stint on Trapper John, MD. Numerous film and TV appearances include Ugly Betty, One Last Thing, recurring roles on Crossing Jordan and Frasier, PBS' Great Performances, DreamWorks' The Prince of Egypt, South Pacific at Carnegie Hall, and his Presidential Debut in The Singer and the Song from the White House.

Jeff Golblum's recent theatre credits include Prisoner of Second Avenue and Speed the Plow at The Old Vic, The Pillowman on Broadway (Outer Critics' Circle Award, Drama Critics' Award, nominations for Drama Desk and Drama League Awards). Films include Fay Grim, The Life Aquatic, Igby Goes Down, California Split, Nashville, Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, The Prince of Egypt, Powder, Mr Frost, Annie Hall, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, The Big Chill, Silverado, The Fly, Deep Cover, The Right Stuff, Between The Lines, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Into the Night, Next Stop - Greenwich Village, The Tall Guy, and Adam Resurrected. Jeff was nominated for an Academy Award for directing the live-action short film Little Surprises, was nominated for an Emmy Award for his television appearance on Will and Grace, and served on the jury of the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.
Now in its third season, GLEE is a musical comedy about a group of eager and ambitious students who strive to outshine their singing competition to win Nationals while navigating the cruel halls of McKinley High. Since its debut, GLEE has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon, received prestigious honors including the Golden Globe and Peabody Award and singlehandedly made glee clubs cool again.
