Tribeca Film Well Go USA Entertainment today announced they have co-acquired North American rights to Scott Foley's ("Scandal") directorial debut Let's Kill Ward's Wife which he stars in along with Amy Acker (Much Ado About Nothing), James Carpinello (Gangster Squad), Dagmara Dominczyk (The Immigrant), Marika Dominczyk ("Brothers & Sisters"), Donald Faison ("Scrubs"), Greg Grunberg ("Heroes"), Nicollette Sheridan ("Desperate Housewive's"), and Patrick Wilson (Watchmen, The Conjuring). The film was written, directed, and co-produced by Foley, with Patrick Wilson and James Carpinello's Lost Rhino Films, and Joe Hardesty. The film will release on video-on-demand platforms in December 2014, followed by a theatrical release in January 2015.

Let's Kill Ward's Wife is a hilariously dark comedy about helping a friend out of a bad relationship by any means necessary. Everyone hates Ward's wife and wants her dead, Ward most of all. But when his friends' murderous fantasies turn into an (accidental) reality, they have to deal with a whole new set of problems -- like how to dispose of the body and still make their 3 p.m. tee time.

"Scott Foley leads a stellar ensemble in his delightful directorial debut, the pitch black comedy Let's Kill Ward's Wife," said Geoff Gilmore. "A playful, funny even slightly perverse look at marriage and friends, this is a wonderfully funny satire that will engage and provoke anyone who has ever contemplated ways to end a bad relationship."

"Patrick, James and I are thrilled that our PASSION project has garnered so much interest. Let's Kill Ward's Wife is a movie that we're all very close to and we know that Tribeca Film and Well Go USA is the perfect home for our film," said Scott Foley.

The deal was negotiated by Alison Diviney for Tribeca Film and Alex Saks of ICM along with Will Lowery of APA on behalf of the filmmakers.
