Tony Romo Featured in This Week's NFL TURNING POINT

Emmy-nominated NFL TURNING POINT, NBC Sports Network's weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET. In this week's episode: NFL Turning Point examines the Washington Redskins overtime victory against the Baltimore Ravens; Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys come-from-behind win over the Cincinnati Bengals; and a spotlight look at Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson and the potential record-breaking season he is having, post knee surgery.

In addition, Football Night In America's Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will break down the keys to this Sunday night's 49ers – Patriots matchup, airing on NBC.

Hosted by Football Night In America's Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

- An in-depth look at Ravens - Redskins, and how Robert Griffin III and back-up QB Kirk Cousins collectively led Washington to victory. NFL Turning Point examines the fourth quarter play in which RG III was injured, and Cousins' 85-yard touchdown drive, with minutes left in regulation, that forced overtime. In addition, the segment looks at Redskins CB Richard Crawford's 64-yard punt return that set up Washington's game-winning field goal.

- NFL Turning Point also explores Cowboys - Bengals, and how Tony Romo was able to lead Dallas to a come-from-behind win against Cincinnati. NFL Films breaks down Romo's fourth quarter 27-yard touchdown pass to Cowboys WR Dez Bryant, and kicker Dan Bailey's field goal that won the game for Dallas.

- The program also shines a spotlight on Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson and potential the record-breaking season that he is having, after returning from knee surgery. The segment features highlights from Peterson's game against the Chicago Bears, and in-game audio from Peterson's previous games this season.

- Football Night In America's Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy will breakdown the keys to this Sunday's 49ers – Patriots matchup.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial "turning point" moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that includes the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

Earlier this year NFL Films and NBC Sports Group agreed to renew the Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, through the 2014 season. This year, NBC Sports Network is airing a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII.
