Variety reports that Mireille Enos, who received a Tony nomination for her 2005 performance in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" has been tapped to star in the new Shonda Rhimes' drama pilot THE CATCH, based on the novel from Kate Atkinson.

"The Killing" actress will portray lead heroine, Alice Martin, described as "a woman who investigates fraud for a living. The thriller follows her as she's about to get married - and about to get conned. And unbeknownst to the man she's about to marry, Alice is not all she claims to be. When her fiancé's expertly planned con collides with her perfectly constructed lies, the couple plunges into a dangerous game of cat and mouse."

Also in the cast is Jacky Ido who will portray 'Delgado,' an FBI agent who becomes weary of Alice.

The new drama pilot is from the team of Rhimes and Betsy Beers, who have partnered in the past on such TV hits as Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away With Murder." Executive producer Jennifer Schuur also wrote the pilot, set to film in Austin, Texas.

Enos, who was nominated for the Tony Award in 2005 for her performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, has also been seen on Broadway in Absurd Person Singular and The Invention of Love.
