A new Guinness World Record(R) was set for creating the world's largest coloring book Saturday, November 10, during a PLAYDATE PREMIERE PARTY hosted by The Hub TV Network, a destination for kids and their families. The event at New York's Gramercy Theater also featured screenings of the season premiere of the pop culture phenomenon animated series "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" (Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. ET) and the series premiere of the all-new animated "Littlest Pet Shop" (Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. ET). Both series are produced by Hasbro Studios.

Actress Melissa Joan Hart ("Melissa & Joey," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Clarissa Explains it All") accepted the award on behalf of The Hub during the premiere-themed event. The coloring book was inspected by an official adjudicator from the Guinness World Records(R) organization who measured the MY LITTLE PONY coloring book and determined it to be a new record at exactly six feet and seven inches tall, and five feet wide. The colossal book was created by Bendon Publishing, a licensee of HASBRO(R) and was colored by kids and their families during the event.

Among the hundreds of local kids and families attending the event were kids from the storm-impacted communities of Belle Harbor, Breezy Point and Coney Island, whose participation was coordinated with the New York City Department of Education. During the event on Saturday, The Hub TV Network also announced that it is making contributions to both The American Red Cross and The Salvation Army, which are assisting those impacted by the Hurricane Sandy disaster.

In "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic," a studious young unicorn named Twilight Sparkle lives in Ponyville, where she and her five pony friends teach one another about the most powerful magic of all, the magic of friendship.

The half-hour animated comedy series "Littlest Pet Shop" follows young Blythe who lives in Downtown City, right above the Littlest Pet Shop, a day-camp for all types of pets. But the fun begins when she discovers that she can talk to the animals and joins them on fantastical adventures filled with music.
