Deportes Telemundo presents Week 15 of the Liga MX Opening Tournament, which matches back-to-back champion León vs. Atlas live from León Stadium in León, Guanajuato this Saturday, November 1 at 10PM/9C/7PT. León comes into the game with three consecutive wins, giving it a good chance of qualifying for the finals if it can repeat this performance against the visiting team from Guadalajara.

The award-winning Deportes Telemundo sportscasting team, with the acclaimed Andrés Cantor at the helm, assisted by the experienced Sammy Sadovnik and three-time top Mexican scorer-turned-commentator Carlos Hermosillo, will cover this decisive encounter. Viewers can also follow the action ondeportestelemundo.com digital platforms, the Deportes Telemundo EN VIVO EXTRA app, and play by play on Twitter @telemundosports and Instagram @deportestelemundo.

León is on its longest winning streak this season, clinching three consecutive games: an away match against Querétaro in Week 12 that ended 2-1; a 2-1 win over Guadalajara, in Week 13, on the occasion of José Manuel de la Torre's debut as the Chivas' coach; and their last game, at "la Bombonera" Stadium, where they defeated Toluca 3-2, robbing it not just of three points but also of its undefeated status at home. With these important victories, León is in tenth place and close to securing a place in the liguilla, just one point away from Cruz Azul, number 8 in the general rankings. León hasn't lost to Atlas since returning to first division soccer, beating its rival four times, twice at home and twice in Guadalajara since the Torneo Apertura 2012.

Atlas has had a DREAM SEASON under the leadership of Tomás Boy. "Los Zorros" are in second place in the league table, two points behind América, in first place with 29. Atlas won its last game, beating Puebla 2-1 at Jalisco Stadium. With this track record, Atlas no longer needs to worry about relegation and is instead a strong candidate for the championship, a feat it hasn't achieved since the 1950-51 season.
