Telemundo News' Presidential Election Coverage Kicks Into High Gear

Telemundo reaffirms its leadership in political news coverage this election cycle with its #YODECIDO 2016 coverage, including the pre-Super Tuesday telecasts of the Clinton-Sanders Town Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, February 18 co-produced with MSNBC, and the only RNC-sanctioned Republican Debate hosted by a Spanish-language network this election cycle on Thursday, February 25 in Houston, Texas, in partnership with CNN. The Democratic Town Hall and the Republican Debate form part of #YODECIDO, the Network's news coverage and voter registration platform to inform and empower Hispanic voters nationwide this election season.

Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will participate in a Telemundo and MSNBC Town Hall moderated by José Díaz-Balart and Chuck Todd on Thursday, February 18 -- just two days before Nevada's First in the West Democratic caucuses. The event, sponsored by the Nevada State Democratic Party will focus on issues affecting the Latino community and will air on Telemundo live on the West Coast from 6-8 p.m. PT, and in all other zones from 12 a.m.-2 a.m. ET, from 11 p.m.-1 a.m. CT and from 10 p.m.-12 a.m. MT. The Democratic Town Hall will also stream live online at Telemundo.com and the Telemundo News App.

Then, on Thursday, February 25, Telemundo will air Live from 9-11 p.m. ET/6-8 PT/5-7 MT the only Republican debate sanctioned by the RNC hosted by a Spanish-language network, in partnership with CNN and the SALEM Group. Emmy Award Winner journalist María Celeste Arrarás will be part of the debate panel which will ask questions on issues of interest to the Hispanic community. The debate will be streamed live on Telemundo.com, the Telemundo News App and on the Telemundo News Youtube channel.

Telemundo will amplify its #YODECIDO special programming by working with its partner, Buzzfeed, to provide extensive coverage around the Democratic Town Hall, the Republican Debate and its Super Tuesday coverage.
