THE VOICE Leads NBC to Monday Wins in All Key Measures

NBC wins Monday night among the Big 4 networks in all key categories, led by the #1 show of the night in 18-49, THE VOICE. "The Voice" (2.0/8 in 18-49, 9.8 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET): Is close to rounding up to a 2.1 (currently reporting a 2.045 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings). Wins the time period over "Dancing With the Stars" by a +33% margin in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.5). Also wins the slot versus "Dancing" in every other key demographic (including a tie in women 18-34).

Is the #1 show of the night in adult 18-49 rating. Retains 95% of last week's 2.1 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 and 91% of In total viewers, retains 99% of last week's fast-affiliate 9.812 million and 97% versus last week's 10.036 million in official nationals. Retains 100% versus the comparable episode of the prior cycle in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 2.0 on Oct. 31, 2016) and is up +3% in total viewers (9.751 million vs. 9.475 million). Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" grew by +25% going from L+SD Nielsens to L+3 in 18-49 (from a 2.20 rating to a 2.74) and +1.8 million viewers overall (10.0 million to 11.8 million) going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to L+3. The gains of +0.54 of a point in 18-49 and +1.8 million viewers overall were the night's biggest L+3 lifts on the Big 4 networks).

"Taken" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): Retains 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and adults 25-54 (1.2 vs. 1.2) Grows +7% week to week in women 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.4). Ranks #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in very key measure (including ties in adults and women 18-34). Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this season, "Taken" has increased by +29% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.23 to a 1.59) and +2.0 million viewers overall (6.0 million to 8.0 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.8/5 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
