'THE TONIGHT SHOW' and 'LATE NIGHT' Win Week of May 23-27

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have dominated the late-night week of May 23-27, with both matching their best adult 18-49 ratings in seven weeks.

Fallon's 0.84 rating for the week in adults 18-49 equaled his highest since he earned a 0.89 for April 4-8. Meyers scored a 0.43 rating last week, matching his best since a 0.44 that same week.

For the week, Fallon beat ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in every key category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers - with a margin of +56% in adults 18-49 versus Kimmel (with a 0.84 rating vs. a 0.54) and +100% versus Colbert (0.84 vs. 0.42). Note that Kimmel was in rebroadcast on Friday.

Meyers outrated Colbert in adult 18-49 rating (with a 0.43 vs. a 0.42), despite airing an hour later.

The week included the conclusion of the May Nielsen sweep, during which Fallon defeated Kimmel and Colbert in every key measure. Fallon topped Kimmel during the sweep by a +73% margin in adult 18-49 rating (0.83 vs. 0.48, L+SD) and Colbert by +77% (0.83 vs. 0.47). Meyers outrated Corden by +35% (0.42 vs. 0.31) and in their head-to-head half-hour, topped "Nightline" by +50% (0.48 from 12:30-1 a.m. vs. 0.32).

Season to date, Fallon and Meyers have outdelivered their ABC and CBS time-period competition for 36 of 36 weeks in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.
