THE SIMPSONS' Yeardley Smith to Guest Star in ABC's REVENGE Season 4

As first reported on TVLine, Yeardley Smith, who voices 'Lisa' on The Simpsons, will appear in a guest-starring role in the fourth season of ABC's REVENGE.

She will play 'Phyllis', "a fellow patient at the mental institution where Victoria was admitted...in the Season 3 finale".

Elena Satine (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is another new addition to Season 4, set to play the "black sheep daughter of a wealthy southern family".

The fourth season of REVENGE debuts on ABC on September 28.

Among Yeardley's other TV credits are Dharma & Greg, The Big Bang Theory, Herman's Head, The Tracy Ullman Show, and Brothers, as well as voice work on Family Guy, Hot in Cleveland and more.

Smith starred on Broadway in 1984's The Real Thing, as well as 2011's benefit reading of Dustin Lance Black's '8'. She also appeared off-Broadway in Love, Loss, and What I Wore and her 2004 solo show, Yeardley Smith: More.

About REVENGE: This is not a story about forgiveness; Revenge is a show about retribution. Meet Emily Thorne, the newest resident of The Hamptons. When she was a little girl (and known as Amanda Clarke) her father, David Clarke, was framed for a horrific crime and subsequently sent to prison. While serving his time, the conspirators plotted and murdered David in order to prevent the truth from coming out. Emily is now back with a new identity and ready to take vengeance on the people that murdered her father and stole her childhood.
