THE HUNGER GAMES' Jennifer Lawrence Named 'World's Most Desirable Woman'

THE HUNGER GAMES' breakout star, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the triumphant 'Katniss,' can add another victory to her resume: World's Most Desirable Woman of 2013.

"Overall, there's a sense that she's a little more authentic than other actors," James Bassil, the editor-in-chief of AskMen, told Reuters today. "She's fresh because we haven't seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years."

With nearly 2.5 million votes cast, for AskMen.com's annual 'Top 99 Women' competition, Lawrence (who placed no. 47 in 2012) has taken the title from MODERN FAMILY's Sofia Vergara, and claimed it for her own. Blake Lively previously won in 2011.

Mila Kunis, Kate Upton, Rihanna, and Emma Stone also make up the top five.

Lawrence first garnered praise for her role in WINTER'S BONE (2010), which earned her an Oscar nomination, and ultimately, the role in THE HUNGER GAMES. Most recently, she can be seen opposite Bradley Cooper in SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK.
