Beverly Adams Entertainment, Inc., a distributor of life changing programming of a philanthropic nature introduces The Changers: Because Hope Changes Everything! World Premiere Special to air during Breast Cancer Awareness Month on GMC TV, America's favorite channel for uplifting family entertainment.

The Changers is a new genre of reality television for a new time. Produced in association with Dave Alan Johnson, this revolutionary new premiere focuses on the concept of Everyday Philanthropy, The Changers demonstrates the benefit of giving to others and the magic it brings to the giver and the receiver.

“I want to do whatever I can to make life count every day,” said Beverly Adams, Co-Creator, Executive Producer and Host. “We were put on this earth to support each other, and we want to inspire, evoke emotion, and to aid and assist. The Changers is a show about real people, true lives, and stories that need to be shared. There is no manipulation; only honest, real and heart-felt situations that are guaranteed to make an impact.”

In this episode, scheduled to air on October 17 at 9pm eastern, with a repeat broadcast at 10pm eastern, Beverly Adams and team meet Thomas Rollerson, Founder and President of national charity, the Dream Foundation, and meet Jessica Keenan, who is wishing to have her dream of a wedding to her fiancé Kurt Jimenez fulfilled. The special begins with Beverly and Michael, Jr. finding an adventurer, Scott Mortensen, who is highly opposed to marriage. A journey of entertaining escapades begins with Scott who is surprised at his new task of helping Jessica plan her wedding! Think the Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez! This wedding planner, Alex Carol, doesn’t mind keeping Scott busy as her new apprentice, but he is not equally enthusiastic about it!

All the while, Jessica and Kurt’s love story is truly magical and provides hope like storybook love. But this is real and Scott’s life is changed by not only their love and commitment, but also his own self-discovery.

The Changers showcases the power of philanthropy, simply put, the love of mankind. This is the miracle cure The Changers brings to the viewers. In fact, since their first meeting on the beach, Scott Mortensen has been so changed by his experience on the show that he has become a part of the Everyday Philanthropy movement.

The Changers is proud to announce the launch of the BE A CHANGER: 30 Days and 30 Nights Challenge. Please visit www.TheChangersTV.com.

We see this program as a potential breakthrough series that has the opportunity to establish an exciting new model for the reality-programming genre. It is an honor to award The Changers with the Parents Television Council’s highly-coveted Seal of Approval,” said Tim Winter, President of the Television Council, which acknowledges responsible entertainment.

Other important episodes of The Changers coming in 2013 will feature Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Rachel’s Challenge, Salvation Army, Communities In Schools Foundation, American Heart Association, and American Cancer Society among many more.

“It is time to accentuate the positive in the reality genre, said Marc Berman, Editor In Chief of TV BizWire’s new publication called TV Media Insights. I absolutely believe this inspiring hour of television has the chops to make a long-term difference.”
