Successful Entrepreneurs to Return to ABC's SHARK TANK With New Venture

Fifteen minutes of fame isn't always enough time when you're a successful entrepreneur.

For Shark Tank veterans Rebecca Rescate and Tiffany Krumins, a new business venture and new product invention, respectively, have led to a return to the ABC hit show this season -- a true testament to the series' ability to propel its alumni down successful paths long after the cameras stop rolling.

For the first time in Shark Tank's history, Rescate, who accepted a deal in Season 2 for her widely successful CitiKitty Cat Toilet Training Kit, will come before the Sharks once again to pitch an entirely new business on Feb. 8th, HoodiePillow. During the same episode, Krumins will offer an update of her hugely popular Ava the Elephant Talking Medicine Dispenser, which she teamed up with Shark Barbara Corcoran on in Season 1, and also give viewers a sneak peak of her latest innovative product invention.

"It's beyond my wildest dreams to be returning to Shark Tank after the wide success of CitiKitty," said Rescate, of Yardley, PA. "CitiKitty had tremendous growth after my 2011 appearance on Shark Tank and that success enabled me to pay it forward by investing my own money in another entrepreneur's prototype and help make someone else's product dreams a reality."

While Shark Tank regularly checks in with past contestants for updates on how their businesses are doing since appearing on the show, Rescate's appearance on Episode 415 this season marks Shark Tank history because she is the first entrepreneur to come back to pitch a new business to the Sharks.

"My first experience on Shark Tank was a pivotal moment in my career and it's thrilling to have the opportunity to appear before the Sharks again," Rescate says.

For Krumins, the appearance in a separate segment on Episode 415 will include the official launch of a new invention, another Shark Tank first.

Krumins was first seen on Shark Tank in Season 1 when she pitched her prototype, the AVA the Elephant Talking Medicine Dispenser, to the Sharks. Shark Barbara Corcoran invested in Krumins and her prototype because she saw the Atlanta-based mom's passion for creating tools to help children and parents whose kids are sick.

"Shark Tank and my partnership with Barbara Corcoran helped turn my dream of helping children into a reality," says Krumins. "Without Shark Tank, there would be no AVA the Elephant Talking Medicine Dispenser, or my latest product, the AVA the Elephant Thermometer Sticker."

While Krumins and Rescate are thankful the Sharks saw potential in both of their products, they acknowledge that the reality TV show's format isn't necessarily the best path for every entrepreneur.

"Turning 15 minutes of fame into long-term growth is hard work," says Krumins. "To keep the momentum going after the cameras have stopped, you have to work around the clock."

"But if you can survive what happens in the Tank, the potential to thrive as an entrepreneur is unlimited," Rescate adds. "What more could we ask for?"
