Spike TV Renews LIP SYNC BATTLE for Second Season

"Lip Sync Battle" is a ratings and multiplatform superstar for SPIKE TV. As a result, the network has announced it will pick up another 20 episodes of the highly-rated critically-acclaimed series, debuting in 2016.

Through four episodes, "Lip Sync Battle" is the most-watched original series in network history, averaging 3 million viewers, and is the top-rated series in its timeslot in the coveted demographic of Adults 18-49 in all of cable. The series is a digital hit as well, amassing over 107 million video streams in three weeks, with the Anne Hathaway "Wrecking Ball" clip securing 14 million views alone.

Across 50 airings (Spike, MTV & BET) between 4/2 and 4/19, "Lip Sync Battle" reached 33.1 million viewers (including 16.5 million women)

The highest rated series in network history with Adults 18-49

The most watched program of any kind in network history with women in all demos
