Sony Movie Channel salutes veterans with a stacked Memorial Day Marathon event on Monday, May 25, starting at 6:45 a.m. ET. The patriotic lineup puts the spotlight on 14 WWII and Military classics featuring iconic performances from silver screen titans Denzel Washington, Kirk Douglas, Tom Selleck, Ronald Reagan, Robert Mitchum, and many more.

The celebration kicks off with a pair of maritime favorites starring Jack Lemmon as the captain of THE WACKIEST SHIP IN THE ARMY, and Ronald and Nancy Reagan in the 1957 love triangle HELLCATS OF THE NAVY; followed by the Oscar®-nominated WWII murder mystery A SOLDIER'S STORY, starring Howard Rollins and Adolph Caesar, and featuring Denzel Washington in one of his earliest roles; and Jeff Daniels is a lieutenant on trial in the 1988 Robert ALTMAN drama THE CAINE MUTINY COURT-MARTIAL.

Then, U.S. Army sergeant Jim Belushi takes on an advancing German battalion in the 1995 remake of the Humphrey Bogart staple SAHARA; Tom Selleck prepares for war in the Emmy-nominated biopic IKE: COUNTDOWN TO D-DAY; Alan Ladd leads the charge against a German radar station in PARATROOPER; Pat O'Brien and Cameron Mitchell stave off kamikazes in OKINAWA; Robert Mitchum and Peter Falk shine in ANZIO; and Colonel Anthony Quinn fights communists in Indochina in LOST COMMAND.

The day comes to a close with a four-pack of epics headlined by Wolfgang Petersen's critically acclaimed German submarine thriller DAS BOOT; Louis Gossett Jr. in the 1986 Air Force actioner IRON EAGLE; Tom Sizemore as a squadron leader trapped behind enemy lines in COMPANY OF HEROES; and Kirk Douglas and Richard Harris in the atomic bomb caper THE HEROES OF TELEMARK.
