Author John Strausbaugh takes viewers through the history of The Village, which he has chronicled in his new book, The Village: 400 Years of Beats and Bohemians, Radicals and Rogues, a History of Greenwich Village. Meet upstate New York artist Gary Weisman. Binghamton station WSKG profiles Weisman at work in his studio and foundry where his bronze sculptures come to life. And, NJ Today correspondent Lauren Wanko takes viewers down the shore to see art emerge from among the ruins of shattered boardwalks and homes after Superstorm Sandy.

The next edition of the MetroFocus premieres in the New York metro area tonight, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. on WLIW21 and Thursday, July 11 at 8:30 p.m. on THIRTEEN and at 10:30 p.m. on NJTV.
