Scoop: WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE - Teacher Appreciation WeekDeserving educators from across the country will play "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," opposite host Chris Harrison, during the show's Teacher Appreciation Week, airing MONDAY, MAY 1 - FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2017. "Millionaire"'s Teacher Appreciation Week celebrates those who devote their lives to inspiring, motivating and educating students, by giving them a chance to play the game and walk away with $1 million dollars!

Among the dedicated TEACHERS playing throughout the week are:

Elementary school teacher, speaker and author Kaitlyn Roig-Debellis (Greenwich, Connecticut), who saved the lives of all 15 of her first grade students during the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012.

Attorney-turned-high school social studies teacher Bob Scarpone (Flanders, New Jersey), who left the legal profession behind to follow his calling as a teacher.

Kindergarten teacher and humanitarian Sonya Romero (Albuquerque, New Mexico), a foster parent to two of her former students.

High school dean of students Jen Sculley (Denver, Colorado), who donated one of her kidneys to a student in need.
