Some mistakes you can never take back - and can have deadly consequences. Four teenagers and their young adult friend from Elkhart County, Indiana found this out the hard way. They made a fateful decision one afternoon in October 2012 that would change their lives forever, and ultimately raise provocative questions about the nature of the juvenile crime and punishment system in our country. With explosive new interviews and revelations, Juju Chang and "Nightline Prime" go deep inside the "Elkhart 4" murder case on "Nightline Prime," airing SATURDAY, JULY 26 (10:00 - 11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

With Levi Sparks, 17, waiting across the street, Blake Layman, 16, Jose Quiroz, 16, Anthony Sharp, 18, and Danzele Johnson, 21, broke into the home of Rodney Scott, who was sleeping. Startled by the noise, Scott grabbed his gun, shot it several times, killing Johnson and wounding Layman. The teens were all charged as adults with felony murder of their friend Danzele Johnson. Each one is now serving at least 45 years in prison for a murder they argue they did not commit.

With jailhouse interviews, documentation of the transfer of one of the boys from the juvenile housing unit at the prison to the adult side of the prison, and an examination of how a minor can be charged as an adult in a felony murder when he did not pull the trigger.

"Nightline Prime" goes inside the most provocative stories of our time, utilizing the newest technologies to put viewers in the middle of stories as they unfold. The new program puts the latest small, agile cameras out with journalists embedded at the center of the stories they are reporting, enabling its teams to go farther, closer and deeper than previously possible.

Almin Karamehmedovic is executive producer of "Nightline Prime" and Jenna Millman is senior producer.
