Scoop: HOTEL HELL on FOX - Monday, August 11, 2014Gordon Ramsay travels to Starkville, MS, to The Hotel Chester, which is located right outside of a college campus. The hotel was a thriving business when it was first bought by David and Sukie Mollendor in 2000. But the hotel has since fallen apart, and the family's financial struggles have forced the couple to file for bankruptcy. When the bank foreclosed on their home, the Mollendors moved into the hotel and Sukie took charge of The Kitchen without any prior cooking experience.

On the brink of giving up, the business is in desperate need of change. Will Ramsay be able to get this hotel thriving again, or will David and Sukie lose the only thing that they have left? Find out in the all-new "Hotel Chester" episode of Hotel Hell airing Monday, Aug. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HOT-204) (TV-14 D, L)

Chef & Hospitality Expert: Gordon Ramsay

After more than a decade of running restaurants in some of the world's top hotels, Gordon Ramsay knows firsthand the crucial importance of surpassing guests' highest expectations.

Ramsay is back for a second season, hitting the road to fix some of America's most horrendous hotels, troubled inns and struggling resorts, many of which are on the brink of closure. Ramsay will travel to locations including Applegate, OR; Las Cruces, NM; Longview, WA; Murphys, CA; Pipestone, MN; Starkville, MS; West Dover, VT; and Woodbury, CT.

To come to grips with the problems, Ramsay will endure hotels at their worst - from filthy bedrooms and mold-ridden bathrooms, to dreadful room service and incompetent staff - all so unsuspecting guests don't have to. After he has uncovered the most pressing issues at each place, Ramsay will put hapless hotel owners and employees to work as he attempts to turn around their failing establishments, doing all he can to rescue these floundering hotels. Some owners will work with Ramsay to address the issues he's identified, while others will refuse to take the advice they sought out, and face the consequences. But, in the end, it will be up to the owners and staff to keep their hotels open.
