“Bring the Pain” – Louis’ estranged brother, Gene (Ken Jeong), comes to visit, and he has big news to share with the family. And Eddie tries to find creative ways to watch the latest Chris Rock age-inappropriate stand-up comedy special despite his parents’ and brothers’ disapproval, on ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat,” airing on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 (9:00–9:30 p.m. EDT). Inspired by a true story, “Fresh Off the Boat” stars Randall Park as Louis, Constance Wu as Jessica, Hudson Yang as Eddie, Forrest Wheeler as Emery, Ian Chen as Evan and Chelsey Crisp as Honey.

Guest starring are Lucille Soong as Grandma Huang, Ray Wise as Marvin, Isabella Crouch as Alison, Prophet Bolden as Walter, Trevor Larcom as Trent, Dash Williams as Brian, Evan Hannemann as Barefoot Dave, Ken Jeong (“Dr. Ken.”) as Gene, Raymond Ma as Mr. Huang.

“Bring the Pain” was written by Sanjay Shah and directed by Bill Purple.

“Fresh Off the Boat” was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who also serves as executive producer. Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar are also executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.

It is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG, L parental guideline.
