DON'T TRUST THE B---- IN APARTMENT 23
"Paris..." - June is nervous and excited about starting at Harken Financial. Things go surprisingly well, and she even meets an incredibly nice co-worker, FOX Paris. Chloe warns June, though, that she shouldn't be so trusting and that FOX is probably just keeping her enemies close. Meanwhile, Mark looks to James for help in expressing his newfound feelings for June, on "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23," TONIGHT, JANUARY 8 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/KELSEY MCNEAL) Dreama Walker
After a naïve Midwestern girl's big city dreams are dashed during her first week in New York, she finds herself living with her worst nightmare in this hilarious, contemporary comedy about a female odd couple who are surrounded by an outrageous and entertaining cast of characters.
June (Dreama Walker) moved to Manhattan for a dream job and the perfect company apartment, only to have it all suddenly dashed in the big market crash. Desperate yet determined, June managed to land a job at a coffee shop and find a seemingly ideal place to live with roommate Chloe (Krysten Ritter), a charming, vivacious "it" girl - but with the morals of a pirate. Chloe, who skillfully made swindling both her hobby and profession, intended to make June her next roommate-scam victim; but she soon discovered that June is not as naïve as she seems, and that she definitely holds her own. Impressed, Chloe decided to give June a chance and pulled June into her colorful band of friends, which includes their very own narcissistic celebrity - former teen heartthrob James Van Der Beek. Sure, it's all dysfunctional, bizarre and overwhelming, but so is New York City. And with Chloe's help, and that of her oddball friends, June might just learn the survival secrets it takes to make it here, and maybe even teach them a thing or two.
"Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" stars Krysten Ritter ("Breaking Bad," "Gilmore Girls") as Chloe, Dreama Walker ("The Good Wife," "Gossip Girl") as June, Michael Blaiklock ("Secret Girlfriend") as Eli, Eric André ("The Invention of Lying") as Mark, Ray Ford ("Brother to Brother") as Luther and James Van Der Beek ("Varsity Blues," "Dawson's Creek") as James Van Der Beek.
