A recent loss creates a rift between Booth and Brennan, as they deal with their grief in different ways. Meanwhile, an old flame (guest star Eddie McClintock) from Brennan’s past comes to visit in the all-new “The Final Chapter: The Grief and the Girl” episode of BONES airing Tuesday, Feb. 21 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BON-1207) (TV-14 L, V)
BONES, a darkly amusing procedural, is inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. In the series, Brennan is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, D.C., and writes novels on the side. When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless (ie. the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed), law enforcement calls on Brennan for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones.
