SKYFALL Grosses $287 Million Internationally

Sony and MGM's SKYFALL, the latest installment in the James Bond franchise, brought in a whopping $156 million this weekend in the international market, Deadline reported this morning. Since its release on Oct. 26, the film has netted over $287 million.

The 23rd James Bond film opened last Friday, was Britain’s 2D all-time biggest Friday opener and 2D biggest opening weekend. In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Tonia Sotiropoulou star in the film, which hits international theaters on October 26, domestic IMAX theaters on November 8, and conventional theaters on November 9.
