Four more leading men are up for the coveted role of 'Harry Osborn' in the sequel to this summer's THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN, The Hollywood Reporter announced tonight. Those included to take on Osborn, the best friend of Peter Parker and son of the Oscorp mastermind who becomes The Green Goblin, include Eddie Redmayne (LES MISERABLES), Sam Claflin (THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE), Douglas Boothe (NOAH), and Boyd Holbrook (THE HOST).

The quartet were said to have auditioned today.

Last week, a report emerged that claimed Brady Corbet (MELANCHOLIA), Dane DeHaan (LAWLESS) and Alden Ehrenreich (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) were the frontrunners for the role. It appears the short-list for Osborn has grown just a bit.

Whoever ultimately nabs the role will join previously announced stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, and Jamie Foxx in THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN 2. The film is set for a theatrical release on May 2, 2014.
