Reality TV Star Ahmad 'Real' Givens Passes Away at 33

According to TMZ, Ahmad "Real" Givens, who starred in VH1's REAL CHANCE OF LOVE, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015, after a long fight with colon cancer. He was 33.

The reality star was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013 and underwent surgery, followed by chemotherapy treatments after the cancer returned. He fell last month and remained bed-ridden until his death last week.

Aside from REAL CHANCE OF LOVE, Givens also appeared in the TV series I LOVE NEW YORK and REAL & CHANCE: THE LEGEND HUNTERS.

Real's brother Chance honored him online, writing: "I'll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God's KINGDOM forever and ever bro words can't describe my pain world pray for me!"

His sister SoNia Bowser wrote on Facebook: "Yesterday, brother Ahmad Givens (aka Real) lost his battle with cancer. He was only 33. Smh just a beautiful spirit. The nicest, friendliest, coolest guy. To my knowledge a God loving family man & A fighter til the end! He understood our time HERE is limited & that we should make the best of it before its our time to move on. smile emoticon Hugs & love to all of you! May you be blessed to live your dreams fearlessly & to the fullest!"
