ROUTE 30, TOO! Cast and Filmmakers to Appear at World Premiere in Chambersburg, PA, 9/8-9

John Putch's locally shot follow up film to ROUTE 30, entitled ROUTE 30, TOO! will have its world premiere September 8th and 9th at Chambersburg's Historic Capitol Theater, 159 S. Main St. Chambersburg, Penn., followed by an October 6th Premiere in Gettysburg at the Majestic Theatre.

Putch and some of his cast and crew will be in Chambersburg for the premiere to participate in an audience Q&A after the screenings, and to sign DVDs of both films which will be available for purchase at the venue. The DVD for the new film will launch at this event, before it hits the website in mid-September.

Cast members scheduled to appear at the event include: Curtis Armstrong, DAVE COWGILL, Lee Wilkof, Dan Poole, MOLLY LAHR, BRIGID RYAN, Ray Ficca, MISTER ED, ALICIA FUSTING, RODNEY LEE CONOVER, Bob RomanUS, WIL LOVE, PAM PUTCH, & NOAH APPLEBAUM.

Crew members scheduled to appear at the event include: JOHN PUTCH (writer/director), KEITH DUGGAN (cinematographer), KATE MURPHY (art director), MIKE VARTHOLOMATOS (camera & electric).

The film was shot in December of 2010 and has been in post production ever since. "The second film in the trilogy has a lot more going on this time around", said Director/ Producer Putch. "Lots of visual effects make for a much more complicated post schedule."

The new film centers around the mystical Pond Bank road, where Ghost and Alien activity has been rumored. "The White Woman was so popular in the first film, that I decided to bring her back in part 2. She is a pivotal character that helps expose strange Alien activity around Mister Ed's Elephant Museum and Candy Outlet."

Aside from Mister Ed's, new area filming locations included The Historic Round Barn, The Penn National Inn, The Cottage Pub, Old Jail House and the town square in Chambersburg. Fayetteville and Caledonia State Park are well represented also.

Returning cast members include Lee Wilkof (Rotten Egg), MISTER ED (Himself), Curtis Armstrong (Deerhunter Bob), Dan Poole (Stickle), DAVID COWGILL (Tork), WIL LOVE (Jackie Flat), Robert RomanUS (Ghosthunter Dick), CHRISTINE ELISE McCARTHY (Realtor Jocelyn), St. Thomas native, ALICIA FUSTING (Candy) and DARRELL VAUGHT (Squick).

New cast members include Beth Behrs (Aliengirl) fresh off her new CBS sitcom '2 Broke Girls', Pittsburgh's own BRIGID RYAN (Mean Mary), JAMIE ROSE (Ghosthunter Dot), NOAH APPLEBAUM (Chicky), Totem Pole Playhouse Artistic Director Ray Ficca (Junior), RODNEY LEE CONOVER (Bartender Rodney), Katie Rayle (Cousin Trudy), and Chambersburg natives MOLLY LAHR (Margie) and ANDREW Stephen JohnSON (Customer Frank).

The premiere screenings will be shown at the Capitol Theater in Chambersburg on September 8th at 7:30PM, and September 9th at 3PM EST. Tickets can be purchased at the Capitol Box office or website.

The Gettysburg Majestic screening will take place on October 6th at 7:30PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Majestic Box office or website.
