Producer Antonio Saillant Set as Keynote Speaker for Green Festival, 4/17

Energy Engineer, Producer and Sustainable Filmmaker, Antonio Saillant is set to present at this years Green Festival Expo taking place in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on (Sunday, April 17).

Saillant's presentation entitled "Sustainability Within the Entertainment Business," will be one of the topics of conversation, along with Climate Change. Saillant is also a member of the Green Festival Advisory Board as Head of their Film Division, greenfestivals.org.

Saillant's statement, "Climate change can no longer be denied. It can't be edited out and it can't be omitted from the conversation, simply saying the words 'climate change' doesn't mean climate change isn't happening." He learned THE ART OF sustainability and filmmaking make a great combination with his creative skills and together, he can make a difference in the world. Saillant Pays It Forward with his latest sustainable film festival, Planet Greenfest, in which the most important focus is on the environmental impacts of film and television production in order to set course in all businesses.

In Saillant's contributions to our planet, he has helped over 50,000 businesses as an Energy Engineer and Environmental Advocate. He saved energy and dollars for New York City and New Jersey hospital systems, universities (Columbia and NYU), pharmaceutical companies (Hoffmann, BMS), as well as other major businesses including Federal/City Court systems, Radio City Music Hall, the old Yankee Stadium, the Hebrew Home for the Aged and the Jewish Home Lifecare System. One significant project was the World Bank in Washington, DC.

Saillant's career change to THE ART OF filmmaking was inspired by the cinematic wonder of Canadian Director, Ted Kotcheff. Saillant worked on high level film projects, learning the nuts and bolts of production and spent several years shadowing his mentor, Ted Kotcheff, Executive Producer of the East Coast, NBC's popular television drama series, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Saillant gained knowledge and insight into how the industry works at the studio level.

Saillant founded Angel Light Pictures Entertainment Group. As one of company's Executive Producers, Saillant handles creative content and client relations. More specifically, Saillant handles the development, casting and day-to-day production matters for the company, while also co-writing and co-directing projects for Angel Light Pictures Entertainment Group. Saillant takes time to 'Teach the concept of "Learning from Doing" in film.'

"I believe that the company has tremendous potential, and I welcome the opportunity as well as challenges to take the company to the next level," said Saillant. He added that at Angel Light Pictures and with the help of Planet Greenfest, he plans to make "character driven, compelling stories for mass audiences." Saillant will make every effort to ensure that all films share a sustainable effect in order to help spread a message about climate change though THE ART OF filmmaking.

Saillant says, "When all nations from all sectors of society, governments, business and civil, work together to achieve one goal, we can build a more prosperous, healthier, cleaner and safer world for this and future generations." His BELIEF is to embrace and love our Mother Earth.

In addition, Saillant is currently co-producer of Healing Seekers, which has received critical and journalistic acclaim for it's efforts to explore remote areas of the world highlighting health and healing traditions and its unique cultural and environmental wonders.

Recently an EXPEDITION CONGO FOR EDUCATION, was a great success which was led by founder and exploder, Amy Greeson. Healing Seekers will give Saillant more of an opportunity to explore some wild and incredible places on our planet, as he learns how conserving the natural world is so important for all of us. He hopes to use his expertise in entertainment and the environment to spread the message worldwide.
