Photo Flash: Vin Diesel Set to Return as RIDDICK on Sept. 6, 2013

A first look at the upcoming film RIDDICK, the third installment in Vin Diesel's "Chronicles of Riddick" franchise, has been released. Check it out below.
In addition, the star announced today via his official Facebook page that the film will be released in IMAX and regular theaters on Sept. 6, 2013.
The film is directed by David Twohy and co-stars Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable and Katee Sackhoff.
In the latest installment, Riddick has been betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, and must fight for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction
