Get ready Gladiators, because SCANDAL's season 3 premieres has been announced on THURSDAY OCT 3 10|9c! ABC has released a new poster to get you ready - check it out below!

In case you've forgotten, when we last saw Olivia Pope, her secret had come out. The press knows that she was Fitz's mistress and she's escorted into a limo where the head of secret/scary spy ring B613-who's also her DAD!-was waiting for her.

From the creator and executive producers of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" comes a drama revolving around the life and work of a professional fixer and her staff. A former media relations consultant to the President of the United States, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) dedicates her life to protecting and defending the public images of our nation's elite. After leaving the White House, the power consultant opened her own firm, hoping to start a new chapter -- both professionally and personally -- but she can't seem to completely cut ties with her past, specifically her secret relationship with the President. But Olivia isn't the only one with a secret; her staff, who specialize in fixing the lives of other people, can't quite fix the ones closest at hand -- their own.

"Scandal" stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, Columbus Short as Harrison Wright, Guillermo Diaz as Huck, Darby Stanchfield as Abby Whelan, Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins, Tony Goldwyn as President Fitzgerald Grant, Jeff Perry as Cyrus, Bellamy Young as First Lady Mellie Grant and Joshua Malina as David Rosen.

The series was created by Shonda Rhimes ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice"). Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice") and Mark Wilding ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice") are executive producers. "Scandal" is produced by ABC Studios.
