Photo Flash: Claudia Lee Stars in The CW's HART OF DIXIE
HART OF DIXIE has returned to the CW Television Network, following a March hiatus, and with it comes teen troublemaker Magnolia Breeland (Claudia Lee). In the April 16 episode, titled "Bachelorettes & Bullets," the rebellious belle organizes a bachelorette party for her older sister, Lemon (Jaime King). Unfortunately, she does not follow Lemon's instructions, and things go downhill.
"This episode has a little bit of everything," Lee said. "There's a lot of humor with the bachelorette party, but it's also serious. You'll see a different side of certain characters."
In the upcoming episode, Lemon is engaged to George Tucker (Scott Porter), while nervously keeping a secret about her previous fling with Mayor Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams). Unfortunately, Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), who has a crush on Lemon's fiancé, knows about the affair. The question is, will she tell?
While the women are partying, Wade (Wilson Bethel) plans a hunting trip for George. Viewers will also be introduced to Jess (Justin Hartley), a new patient who might have a thing for Zoe.
"Bachelorettes & Bullets" will be Claudia Lee's fifth episode, since her character was introduced last November. Although essentially a good kid, Magnolia is known for her sassy attitude, which sometimes gets her into trouble.
"I don't think Magnolia is really bad," Lee said. "She's just trying to be independent, while also trying to uphold the image that her family expects. She's no different than a lot of kids my age."
Lee, 15, arrived in Hollywood from her native Indiana two years ago. Before joining HART OF DIXIE she co-starred as the doughnut shop waitress, Bridget, on Disney XD's hit sitcom "Zeke and Luther," which airs in more than 50 countries. She is also a country music singer, with a new album titled "Here Right Now," featuring the singles "Hollywood Sunset" and "It Gets Better," an anti-bullying song that was inspired by the It Gets Better Project. Her next single is scheduled to be released to radio stations in May.
HART OF DIXIE airs on the CW Network on Mondays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central. The season finale is scheduled to air on May 14.
