According to USA Today, Season 11 American Idol winner Phillip Phillips will release his sophomore album 'Behind the Light' on May 19th, 2014. The album will include Phillips' current hit single, 'Raging Fire'.

Gregg Wattenberg, who co-produced Phillips' debut album 'The World From the Side of the Moon', produced the upcoming album as well. The single 'Home' from said this debut became the best-selling single in American Idol history.

While on American Idol, Phillips was compared to the likes of superstars such as Dave Matthews. Since winning the popular singing competition, Phillips has enjoyed much success in the music industry.

Phillips is set to perform the single 'Raging Fire' on Conan on April 1st. The program will be broadcast live from Dallas' Majestic Theater before the NCAA Final Four. Phillips just wrapped a music video for the song in anticipation of his upcoming sophomore album.
