PBS to Air Three-Part Series THE GUILTY, 10/25

The critically acclaimed British crime drama THE GUILTY, a three-part series, will air in the U.S. on PBS Sunday, October 25, 2015, 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET. The show's premiere follows the fifth episode of the lavish MASTERPIECE drama "Indian Summers," rounding out PBS' Sunday night drama block.

Written by Debbie O'Malley ("Law & Order: UK," "Silk"), THE GUILTY follows DCI Maggie Brand (Tasmin Greig) as she and fellow police detectives reopen the investigation of a four-year-old boy's disappearance during a neighborhood cookout. Driven by her obsession to discover what happened to Callum Reid, Maggie stops at nothing to discover the truth. In the process, she puts her own family at risk.

With its riveting storyline and engaging acting, the drama drew three-and-a-half million viewers in the UK.

In addition to Greig ("Episodes," Shaun of the Dead), THE GUILTY features Katherine Kelly ("Mr. Selfridge," "Coronation Street") as Claire Reid, Darren Boyd (The World's End, Imagine Me & You) as Daniel Reid and Jamie Sives ("Game of Thrones," Rush) as Jeb Colman.

THE GUILTY is a Hartswood Films production for ITV. The drama is produced by Elaine Cameron ("Sherlock," "Jekyll," After Thomas) and executive produced by Beryl Vertue ("Sherlock," "Jekyll") and directed by Ed Bazalgette ("Endeavour," "A Mother's Son").
