OWN's Saturday Night Lineup Draws 3.7 Million Viewers

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network continues its strong momentum as 3.7 million total viewers tuned-in Saturday, April 20 to watch week two of the original series "Iyanla: Fix My Life" and "Life With La Toya," and the series premiere of "Raising Whitley."

The comedy docu-series "Raising Whitley" starring actress and comedienne Kym Whitley attracted 1.2 million total viewers for the night with 789,000 tuning in for the premiere episode (10-10:30 p.m.) and an additional 382,000 total viewers watching the Encore at 1 a.m. The series ranked #1 in its time period across all broadcast and cable networks among African-American women 25-54 (3.99).

Week two of the original series "Iyanla: Fix My Life" featuring life coach Iyanla Vanzant attracted 1.5 million total viewers for the night with 987,000 total viewers watching the premiere from 9-10 p.m. and an additional 488,000 watching the Encore at 12 a.m. The series ranked #1 in its time period in African American women 25-54 among all broadcast and cable networks (4.57). Through two weeks, "Iyanla" is up +60% versus its season one average.

The original series "Life With La Toya" starring La Toya Jackson continued with a solid second week attracting over 1 million total viewers for the night with 682,000 total viewers tuning in to the premiere episode from 10:30-11 p.m. and an additional 323,000 total viewers watching the Encore at 1:30 a.m. The episode also ranked #1 in its time period across all broadcast and cable networks among African America women 25-54 (3.54).

These numbers make OWN's Saturday primetime lineup #1 for African-American women in all of television across broadcast and cable for the second consecutive week (2.79, AAW18-49 and 3.12 AAW25-54). Over the past two Saturday nights, OWN is the most watched network (non-sports) for African-American viewers. In addition, for the second consecutive week, OWN was the #1 most social cable network in primetime (non-sports) on Saturday in all of TV according to Bluefin.
