Saban Brands and Nick Jr. today announced that Julius Jr., the all-new animated preschool series inspired by the Paul Frank family of characters, will debut Sunday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nick Jr. in the United States. Following the adventures of a young version of Julius the monkey, Julius Jr. will mark the first television series for the Paul Frank franchise.

"Julius the monkey is an internationally recognized and beloved character, thanks to the success of the Paul Frank brand around the world," said Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands. "Julius Jr. and his friends will not only captivate preschoolers, but also inspire kids to use their imagination and creativity in everyday life."

The show follows Julius Jr. and his playful friends who use a delightful blend of imagination and inventive spirit to help each other overcome challenges big and small - teaching kids that the best inventions are the ones that help your friends.

On the newly launched website, nickjr.com/julius-jr, parents and kids can find hours of fun with Julius Jr. and friends. The site is filled with music videos, downloadable materials and curriculum-based activities including coloring sheets and activity blue prints, for kids to use and moms to enjoy.
