In a time where web-series are becoming increasingly more popular, Finding My Obama is a perfect fit. Timely, interesting, and relevant, the show follows Nef (Nefetari Spencer), a single African American woman eager to find her perfect man.

Taking viewers on a winding journey—from dating and dialogue with flavorful friends, to her thoughts on love and relationship perfection—Nef proves to be a familiar, yet unique, character. With a pinch of Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City) and a dab of the hit show "Girlfriends," the formula for this series is not only embedded in the lives of many single women, but it also has a familiar tone that TV viewers can appreciate.

Finding My Obama was created by Antonia March and Jacqueline McKinley—a duo whose resume consists of writing, producing, and director credits. During the course of their career, they have written for six different sitcoms, including the Emmy award winning series, The Bernie Mac Show. Their award winning short films, “Move” and “Oxtails,” have appeared on both Showtime and BET.
