New Seaons of Spike TV's INK MASTERS, TATTOO NIGHTMARES Coming in 2014

As Spike TV continues to deliver on its mission to reach a more gender-balanced, adult audience, the network has green-lit new seasons of its highly-rated original series, "Ink Master" and "Tattoo Nightmares." Season four of "Ink Master" will debut in 2014 with 13 one-hour episodes and 26 new episodes of "Tattoo Nightmares" will debut in 2014 as well.

"Ink Master and Tattoo Nightmares have been great performers for Spike TV and have helped propel the network to its highest rated quarter with adults in four years," said Sharon Levy, Executive Vice President, Original Series, Spike TV. "These two series showcase tattooing as the incredible art form it has evolved into and are emblematic of Spike's new direction as we're appealing to a broader audience with compelling original programming."

In third quarter, buoyed by the strength of its originals, including the aforementioned series and "Bar Rescue," Spike TV delivered its highest ratings in Primetime with Adults in prime in four years.

Adults 18-49 in Prime:

· Spike was up +26% (0.49 rating), the highest since 4th qtr of 2009

· Spike delivered more growth in 3rd qtr than any other Top 25 basic cable network.

Adults 18-49 in Total Day:

· Spike was up +17% (0.27), the highest since 4th qtr of 2010

About Ink Master

"Ink Master" is hosted by music legend Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) and judged by renowned tattoo artists Chris Nunez ("Miami Ink") and Oliver Peck (Elm Street Tattoo). Sixteen contestants from around the country battle it out each week in permanent ink for a $100,000 cash prize, an editorial feature in Inked magazine and the bragging rights title of 'Ink Master. 'The show is produced for Spike TV by Original Media ("Swamp People," "NY Ink," "Comic Book Men," "The Rachel Zoe Project,") with Charlie Corwin and Andrea Richter serving as Executive Producers.

Season three (through Sept 24) of "Ink Master," pacing to have its most watched season ever, is averaging 2.1 million viewers and has improved the timeslot with Persons 18-34 by a remarkable 267% and 18-49 by 177%.

About Tattoo Nightmares

"Tattoo Nightmares" is produced by 495 Productions ("Jersey Shore," "FriendZone," "Snooki & JWOWW") with SallyAnn Salsano and Joel Zimmer as Executive Producers. The series showcases real people with really bad tattoos who seek the help of some of the best cover-up artists in the business to fix them.

Season two of "Tattoo Nightmares" (through Sept. 24) is averaging 1.2 million viewers and has improved the timeslot with Persons 18-49 by 169%.
