Netflix Aiming for 20 Original Series A Year

At NATPE today, Netflix's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos confirmed the online streaming service will continue to branch out in years to come, according to Deadline.

"I think we can launch - successfully, high quality - around 20 original scripted shows a year," Sarandos said. "Which means every two and a half to 3 weeks you're launching a new season or a new show on Netflix meant to be for really diverse tastes all around the world."
