On July 12, 1962, the Rolling Stones first went on stage at the Marquee Club in London's Oxford Street. To celebrate this fiftieth anniversary milestone, The Paley Center for Media in New York will explore how the Stones used media to reach a mass audience with a photographic exhibition documenting the last half-century and a video tribute highlighting the band's most iconic performances.

Starting November 7 and closing in January 6, 2013, the Spielberg Gallery at the Paley Center will display seventy photos ¬-- never before exhibited together in the US -- illustrating the Rolling Stones's astounding career through rarely seen material from every period of the band's history. The gallery will also feature video highlighting the Rolling Stones's most impressive TV appearances, from their first appearance on Hollywood Palace to classic Ed Sullivan shows to the Super Bowl in 2006, all from the Paley Center's unique collection. The exhibit is included with General Admission ($10 for adults; $8 for students and senior citizens; $5 for children under fourteen) and free to Paley Center Members with advance tickets available now at paleycenter.orgwww.paleycenter.org
