NBC's TODAY is kicking off the second installment of "Fresh Cooks Live," an interactive culinary experience featuring full cooking demos by talented rising-star chefs. Five new faces to the food scene will join host Carson Daly live on the plaza to fire up the grill with sizzling meals for the barbecue season. "Fresh Cooks Live: Summer Sizzle" begins Monday, July 28, and will air live on TODAY with Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and stream on TODAY.com, allowing the audience at home to cook along simultaneously.

"Fresh Cooks Live" launched in March in response to TODAY show viewers' requests for longer cooking segments. The first installment featured a special spring cookalong. Next week's series will showcase highly-acclaimed chefs who will demonstrate the finer points of barbecuing essential summer meals. Featured cooks of the series include:

Guy Turland, host of Bondi Harvest
Robyn Lindars, founder of Grill Grrrl: Adventures of a Girl on the Grill
Bren Herrera, founder of Flanboyant Eats
Andrew Gruel, founder/CEO of SLAPFISH restaurant
Keith Lorren, host of Keith Cooks TV

TODAY invites viewers to participate and join the conversation by sharing cooking photos and questions on social media using #FreshCooksLive, on Facebook.com/TODAY, and Facebook.com/TODAYFood. Carson Daly will take live questions from the Orange Room and Twitter, and submitted photos may be featured throughout TODAY's coverage. Viewers are encouraged to prepare for the series' demos and can find each chef's recipe along with full cooking segments at http://on.today.com/Us5jcP.
