NBC's TODAY Continues to Post Ratings Gains

NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum posting season-to-date growth among total viewers and the key demo A25-54. For the week of July 21, TODAY posted gains in A25-54 and A18-49 versus the prior week. Season-to-date, TODAY ranks as the #1 morning news broadcast in rating A18-49.

TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:

TODAY averaged 4.041 million total viewers, leading CBS by +50% (+1,349,000)
TODAY delivered a 1.3 A25-54 rating, +86% (+6 tenths) more than CBS
TODAY drew 1.576 million A25-54 viewers, outperforming CBS by +95% (+766,000)
TODAY's 1.0 A18-49 rating was +150% (6 tenths) higher than CBS's 0.4 rating
TODAY averaged 1.252 million A18-49 viewers, more than doubling (+129%) CBS
Week-to-week, TODAY posted increases in A18-49 viewers (+3%) and A25-54 viewers (+1%) and widened its advantages over CBS by 6% and 2% respectively
Season-to-date, TODAY has posted growth in total viewers (+7%, or +315,000), rating W/M/A18-49 (+13%/+13%/+18%), and rating W/A25-54 (+5%/+6%)
Compared to last season, TODAY has widened its advantages over CBS by 2% in total viewers and 17% among A25-54 viewers
TODAY widened its leads over CBS compared to the current 3Q'14 average in total viewers (+1%), A18-49 viewers (+5%), and A25-54 viewers (+4%)
TODAY continues to be the #1 morning news program season-to-date in all 18-49 demo ratings
