NBC's THE VOICE is Tuesday's #1 Show in Total Viewers

"The Voice" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 10.9 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 show of the night in total viewers and was the #1 regularly scheduled telecast of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54.

Versus special competition from CBS's "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," as well as ABC's "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town," "The Voice" won its time period in total viewers and tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34. Despite the "Rudolph" competition, "The Voice" retained 85% of last week's rating in adults 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.6), held 91% in women 18-49 (2.9 vs. 3.2) and retained 97% in total viewers (10.870 million vs. 11.231 million).


"Marry Me" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:30 p.m. ET) is currently up +5% week to week in total viewers (4.855 million vs. 4.646 million), pending updates. "Marry Me" is retaining 92% of last week's rating in adults 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.3), is holding 100% in adults 18-34 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and is retaining 100% in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.7), pending updates.

Upscale: "Marry Me'" is tied for #11 among primetime Big 4 series in its concentration of upscale viewers, indexing at a 137 for adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes, "most current").


"About a Boy" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) retained 75% of its 18-49 lead-in from "Marry Me," held 88% in adults 18-34 (0.7 vs. 0.8), held 90% in women 18-34 (0.9 vs. 1.0) and retained 100% in men 18-34 (0.5 vs. 0.5).


The NBC NEWS SPECIAL "Angelina Jolie: Unbroken" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained its full adult 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour (1.0 vs. 1.0), despite the 10 p.m. hour, while also maintaining 100% in adult 25-54 (1.3 vs. 1.3) and growing by +13% in men 18-49 (0.8 to 0.9).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
